Fishing Suspended on All Beats

Following Saturday’s announcement to suspend all salmon fishing on our beats, and due to the increased temperatures this past weekend, we have decided to further suspend ALL fishing on ALL beats from Tuesday 20th July. The decision aligns with our mission statement and club ethos, Committed to the Environment. We will review this decision from Monday 26th July.

If you have made a booking to fish any of our bookable beats during this period, you will receive a cancellation email shortly.

I appreciate your understanding during these stiflingly hot times. We hope to reopen our waters as soon as possible and as soon as we can confirm that water temperatures have dropped sufficiently to ensure our river’s inhabitants are no longer at risk.

In the meantime, let’s give our fish a little respite, and I hope you enjoy the weather in other ways. As the current conditions are more suited to a BBQ or a glass of something chilled, I’m sure you’ll agree that the fishing can wait a week or so.

Any questions, queries or concerns, as always, please don’t hesitate to email me via the Contact Us page.

Kindest regards,

Gareth Lewis
