Equipment

• Normal sewing needle.
• Copydex type rubberised glue.

Materials

• Hook: Fine wire bent hook size to suit hatch. In this video, I have used a size 20 Varivas 2200 curved hook
• Silk: To match the hatch. I have used 70 denier UTC Hopper Yellow.
• Dubbing: Flyrite or similar. Colour to match the hatch.
• Tails: Micro fibbetts colour to match the hatch. In this one, I have used olive.
• Wings: Paired Mallard quill slips tied in sidewinder style. I.E. on the side of the hook shank.
• Thorax: as dubbing on the detached body.
