    Hi All,

Doesn’t look great for river situations in the UK especially in England at the moment.  Water abstraction and lack of rain is really causing issues now.  Please read BBC article.

Glad the Environment Agency able to save some fish – reminded of my childhood by the river Dart at Buckfast which used to dry to small pools of water some summers, but a very different river indeed in spate. All the salmon then had a fungus growing on their bodies – a dreadful sight. You could see this up close as they swam miserably in the leet which ran down to Buckfast Mill behind the Abbey.
